Continental TerrainContact A/T pretty solid reviews as well:

Just not sure they are worth the added price.

I had the Cooper AT's on my 2014 Ram for a while, very good tire and did well in the rain. Sold them to a friend when I changed over to Cooper STT Pro mudders. Those were installed when my truck had a little over 63k on the clock. It's about to turn 119k so I've gotten 55k miles out of those and still have at least 5k tread left on them.

I'll be going back with them when it's time for new tires.

As mentioned in the other tire thread... I'm happy with the Cooper Discoverer A/T tires on my Tahoe.

The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I had them on my 4Runner from the time I bought it until I switched them out for KM3s. They are a great tire and much better than KO2s in the wet.

I swapped out because I had two sidewall punctures from rock crawling. Still have them, need to list them with my local off-road group.

I can't speak to many of the tires listed, but I MUCH prefer Duratracs to the K0 and K02.

The K02s will last longer, and do run quieter (on a 3500 lb Jeep and Chevy Silverado at least). Other than that, the Duratracs have better traction in all conditions in my experience.

"The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said Ford, "it is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"
"It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want."
"You mean they actually vote for the lizards."
"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"
"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."

The Cooper AT3s were on my short list and would have purchased them but I got a deal on the Toyos. I asked anyone I came across who had the AT3s at the campgrounds what they thought and they all liked them. These were all people towing large campers. Probably at least 15 folks.

Have had Coopers on my trucks, in various kinds, for a long time. Current, have AT3s on my 2500HD and on the fence if I'm going to replace them with other Coopers. Bought them in June '18, Cooper replace one 4 months later since the sidewall was cracking. About 6 months after that, one developed a bubble in the sidewall, which they didn't warranty.

KO2s on a Wrangler we have, very happy with them. Have Continental's on a Grand Cherokee, and very happy with their on road manners, as well as snow performance. Don't drive them off road.

Pulled the trigger on the Coopers.
Could not really justify $200 more for all 4 tires for the Continentals or the Goodyear Duratracs. Especially with all the good reviews here on the Coopers.
Truck gets driven maybe 3k miles a year.

Trying to do what I can to pump some money back into the economy.

I just put 4 265/75 16 BFG KO2 on my Tacoma for $150 a tire last Saturday. I found a seller on amazon selling them for that and America’s tire price matched when I put the amazon link into their price match submission form. Had a real person email me the confirmation within an hour. Tax, mounting, balancing, disposal fees etc brought it to $750 out the door.

For the 1st time Amazon, TireRack, and Amazon have all been the same price.

I went with TireRack since they include 2 year road hazard.

Damn. I'm a bit too late. Cooper makes an AT tire exclusively for Discount Tire that's a bit cheaper than the Copper AT3's. I had the AT3's and put the DT Cooper's on my truck 3-4 months ago. The DTs have a hair more aggressive pattern hence, a little more road noise - but you have to be listening for it to notice.

I am running the K02’s in the same size. Great off road tire. They do amazingly well in the desert and in rocks, steps, etc.
They are a royal PITA to keep balanced. I’m considering going with DynaBeads because of the balancing issues.
Aside of that, they are an awesome tire.

Not seeing anything on the site or maybe just don’t come in that size.

Toyo owns Nitto and they make the Terra Grappler G2 in their plant in White, Georgia.

I'm a big fan of the G2s. They have a nice quiet ride on pavement, which is their typical duty, they look nice, and they are capable off road for what I need (occasional mud and gravel.)

Pretty sure the Terra Grapplers are made in Japan with the Exo and Ridge Grappler being the only ATs made in the states.

My G2s say Made in USA on the sidewall.

They were on the DT website. You're probably right about the 'only in certain sizes".

Another frustration is actually trying to figure out where tires are made.
TireRack lists country of origin but they do not carry Nitto. All I read stated otherwise on the TerraGrapplers and when I inquired about country of origin from Discount they advised they could not say as tire manufacturers are constantly changing plants and they don’t have a way of knowing.

I requested if they could list or tell country of origin and got this response.

quote:
Thank you for your question. I don't see that happening since most major tire manufacturers have multiple plants in different countries and manufacture the same tire
in different locations. We are never guaranteed what country of origin the tires we receive are from.

Congrats, Black. The Discoverer AT3 was top on my list last year, but I went with the newly-released Bridgestone Dueler Revo3 with a good deal at Firestone. I‘be previously run original Revo and Revo2 in years past on an ‘07 Tacoma and liked them well enough. I put these Revo 3s on my current F-150 and I’m not real impressed with their wet traction (maybe partly due to these slick West Texas roads).

Please post back after your first rain.

Quick update on the Cooper Discoverer AT3s
They are a good looking tire. My first drive on them was about 25 miles on a 2 lane mountain road in the rain. They gripped nice and gave me no issues doing 55-65 with good grip in the wet. The other 65 miles was straight interstate in the rain and they performed great.
They are not loud at all with the windows up. Did some driving with the windows down today and still not loud.
Took a load of mulch down to a spot that was a wet sloppy mud. They did great did not even have to put it into 4wd.
So far I am quite happy with the purchase.
