I always bought quality tools for my Trade. There came a time when I chose to buy “emergency” tools that were cheap and if I used them once I had gotten my moneys worth. I have a few HF tools that I consider expendable and actually still have most.

I let one of the jr. DFs borrow my socket set because his own was missing too many pieces. It came back minus the 10mm socket. “Sorry Pops”

Makes sense to me. I have several missing 10mm sockets.
