This week three weather/air travel incident were covered by the media in my neck of the woods.

First was an Aerolíneas Argentinas regular flightfrom Spain to Argentina than encountered an “undetectable” nice weather storm or whatever the right trrm. Basically not your average shitty dark weather not looking good stain on your screen but an invisible hellish all is fine until you are stumbling like a dice inside the cabin and feeling you are history. In the niddle of the ocean.
The flight mafe it safely to land but the plane was completely thrashed inside, 12 injured.

“it’s just a little rain” said the pilot from another commercial flight from Chile to Paraguay.
Not exactly. They flew through a hail storm that destroyed the plane’s nose and windshield. Lost an engine and will give passengers nightmares for the rest of their lives….

Don’t have the specifics of the third incident but the first two very close together make you wonder.

Fascinating stuff, have had it on my DVR for a long time

I was on four flights in July and August. Three of them had delays or cancelations - ALL of those were A320s.

We are addicted to that show, and recall an episode where the pilots read a 'clear passage' in a storm cell but actually flew into the worst part of the storm due to the radar misinterpreting the return.
