Can anyone make a recommendation for a good one? Doesn’t have to be the best as I will probably only use it occasionally.

IMO good: Porta Cable. Best: DeWalt, Milwaukee, Bosch. Makita is probably in between.

No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

Bosch Bulldog is almost as good as a Hilti that cost 10x as much.

What are you working on?
A rotary hammer may be a better choice depending on your needs.

I use Ridgid tools from Home Depot with lifetime warranty. All have been solid for me, including hammer drill which I use to drill concrete slab for safe and gazebo, sharpen my mower blades etc.

Also have a corded DeWalt. Solid as well.

Bosch factory refurbished can save some money. It has the full warranty. I bought one, you could not tell the difference between it and a brand new one.

You didnt say wheter you wanted/needed a corded drill.
The corded ones are much more powerful.
For drilling a couple of holes into brick, any will do.
Pretty much the more you spend the better the tool.
But if brick is the extent, go cheap with a HF corded with a masonary bit.

I have Dewalt batteries so I always buy Dewalt tools. If I could start all over I’d go Milwaukee.

I just purchased a Dewalt 20 volt hammer drill last week. I typically just buy them tool only without the battery to save a little. I’m just a diyer and I have plenty of batteries.

It's been a LONG time, but wasn't Hilti the industry standard for this?
