Absentee ballet request form came today from Trump election committee of Ohio. We filled them out, sent in, and when ballets arrive Trumps got two early votes.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

If you want to apply for an absentee ballet (or ballot), please do so early.
My older daughter applied for one for a recent runoff election, mailing it a couple of days before the mailing deadline for such requests (which supposedly gives it enough time to get to the election office and back to the voter). There was an apparent delay somewhere along the way, the absentee ballot never arrived, and she learned a valuable lesson.
