I have worn a Suunto for years now and it is getting a little long in the tooth. But mostly I really miss wearing a bracelet watch but with work and the snitch goggle a watch that displays texts and caller ID is invaluable. Citizen, Tissot, and Tag all seem to make true smart watches that look most like the real thing. Then there are a bunch of Chinese branded things (yes I realize the Citizen is made in China but Citizen is reputable) The Citizen falls at a decent price point. https://www.citizenwatch.com/u...cgid=cz-smart-wearos Anyone have one? I like that my Suunto goes about a week between charges (not using GPS). But looks like a couple days is best you get with the Citizen. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. I have one. It’s a neat watch but I’m more into automatics so mine is just collecting dust until I get back into a better workout routine again. You will only get a day or so depending on your usage. You can stretch it MUCH longer if you don’t use many apps or optimize for a long battery life. When I was working out more regularly it was a nice fitness tracker. Apple’s watch probably outperforms it but my goodness those things are so fucking ugly. I hope they never realize this. Likes: -customizable dials with lots of free options -call ID would often let me know of an incoming call before my phone would vibrate/ring -easy to change the dial looks and functions -aesthetically pleasing watch with a diver chronograph look -sleep tracker function is neat & helped me improve my sleep quality & duration. It’s neat to wake up tired wondering how long you slept and to have data to look at confirming you didn’t sleep long enough. -heart rate monitor and workout apps are pretty sweet -customizable pushers that allows you to choose what function is activated by hitting the pusher -the watch learns from your usage and attempts to optimize battery life Dislikes: -the battery life can go fast if you use a lot of apps throughout the day (the watch does try to optimize based on your usage) -the rotating bezel isn’t real -I’m not too sure about it’s water resistance -many dials you can download free require you pay for the full functionality. They still work but for example on some if you want it to tell you weather or heart rate or be able to customize the hands sometimes it costs extra I liked that I could swap out dials and customize hands etc whenever I got bored with the look...which happened frequently. I eventually settled on this first one to use most of the time but I liked to occasionally use the other dials too. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The price of liberty and even of common humanity is eternal vigilance

How does it feel on the wrist? Does it feel like your typical quartz diver? Certainly going to have less heft than an auto. My Suunto weighs next to nothing and I dislike that. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. It’s light. I have not ever used the original bracelet (it’s still wrapped in plastic) but on mesh and on a Seiko high quality silicon strap it’s VERY comfy. I never used the original bracelet because I planned on selling it but I liked it more than I thought I would. The size and shape of it makes for a comfy watch. As far as ergonomics I have zero complaints. With the newer & nicer Seiko rubber straps or on shark mesh it feels about the same as my Suunto Core. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The price of liberty and even of common humanity is eternal vigilance
