No kidding. He should have a hideout in a volcano. And a cat. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.

scared criminals on the run have hideouts, super wealthy, egocentric, megalomaniacs always have a Lair with their sidekicks, who are always numbered, not named, and hot babes scantily dressed smoking cigarettes, a fully stocked bar, music systems, sharks with lasers on their frick'n heads, time warp machines, piranha rivers, custom escape pods, and all kinds of evil stuff, but it's called a Lair...

It'll be Alexa.
If I had to guess, I'd go with it's named after the first American in space, Alan Shepard.

I would really like to see them make it an 8 seater. That way there is room for all of them to take the trip together. That would be soooo perfect. "Practice like you want to play in the game"

Shepard is New Shepard. It is the first rocket that Blue Origin has built. It is named after Alan Shepard. Why? It can take a person to space but will not put a person into orbit. This is exactly what Alan Shepard did in Mercury 7. It wasn't until John Glen flew on Friendship 7 that the US was able to put a man in orbit around the earth. Blue Origin is following that by naming its second rocket "New Glen". The New Glen Rocket will be very large and powerful. Much more powerful than SpaceX Falcon 9 Heavy. Its to late for me to look it all up and give the stats. Maybe I'll do so tomorrow. Ok now regarding the $10B that congress is trying to give to Blue Origin who was leading a team of companies to build a human landing system HLS that would be used to land people and things on the moon. NASA selected SpaceX to build the lander. Blue Origin will continue to build it regardless of congress giving them money or not. Ok, so here is where Congress aka the people who oversee NASA is screwing up and spending your money poorly. - SpaceX will put people on the moon using 17 to 19 rocket launches to get there. - Blue Origin's proposal to NASA would do that same thing with only 2 rocket launches. Also, the HLS contract that was awarded to SpaceX was given to 1 company. Whereas the Blue Moon team had consisted of 4 companies. So if growing the US space industry was something that congress wanted to do, well that was just thrown out the door and the US is going with a single-source provider. These proposed moon missions are different from Apollo so do not compare the numbers here to a single rocket launch of 1 using the Saturn V. What about Boeing? Didn't they just send the Starliner to the ISS, the US has other rocket companies too! Well yes, they did on top of an Atlas V, which would be a great rocket except for the fact the engines were designed by well the Russians! and those engines are made in um... Russia... So the US Space program is powered by Russian engines! That includes a lot of satellites launched by the NRO. Ok to be fair ULA is going to phase out the Atlas V and replace it with a new rocket they are developing. The Vulcan, I can only guess where they came up with that name. Anyway, Vulcan will be powered by 2 engines that Blue Origin is doing the R&D testing and development of. Those engines will go into but ULA Vulcan and the Blue Origin New Glen. Alright then, anyone want to guess what Blue Origin's 3rd rocket will be named??? It has not been announced just internet rumors. Should not be too hard, 1st US man in space, 1st us man in orbit, 1st US man on the.... Blue Origin represents a new opportunity for the US and our space industry as does SpaceX. There are other companies but those two are furthest ahead in the space race. You can hate anyone you want to. Amazon destroyed lots of malls, stores etc... but they have also brought you a lot of stuff you never dreamed would be possible. Bezos had the idea and drive to make things happen and as such became the richest man ever. Personally, I'm glad the US has the richest guy in the world. Might as well be an American. __________________________ My door is always open to Sigforum members, and I'm always willing to help if I can.

Moving to Florida... Jeff Bezos Exits Left-Wing Seattle For New Home In 'Low Tax' Miami Florida has gained some extremely wealthy residents, like Citadel's Ken Griffin, in a post-Covid era. Joining the migration of billionaires to the Sunshine State is none other than Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. Bezos announced his big move in an Instagram post on Thursday night: Seattle has been my home since 1994 when I started Amazon out of my garage. That's my dad behind the camera in this video, touring Amazon's first "office." My parents have always been my biggest supporters. They recently moved back to Miami, the place we lived when I was younger (Miami Palmetto High class of '82 — GO Panthers!) I want to be close to my parents, and Lauren and I love Miami. Also, Blue Origin's operations are increasingly shifting to Cape Canaveral. For all that, I'm planning to return to Miami, leaving the Pacific Northwest. I've lived in Seattle longer than I've lived anywhere else and have so many amazing memories here. As exciting as the move is, it's an emotional decision for me. Seattle, you will always have a piece of my heart. While Bezos stated in the post he wants to be closer to his parents and Blue Origin's new operations at Cape Canaveral, we suspect what spurred his exodus from the progressive state, like other wealthy folks, is the move from a high-tax state to a low-tax state. Florida does not impose a state income tax, estate tax, or inheritance tax. In contrast, Washington state has a 7pc tax on capital gains, introduced in 2022, and officials have proposed a 1pc wealth tax on residents with over $250m in assets (which would mean Bezos paying $1.6 billion a year just to live there). Bloomberg recently reported the billionaire purchased a $79 million seven-bedroom mansion in Indian Creek, an artificial barrier island in the Miami area. Besides Bezos, former Google chairman and CEO Eric Schmidt has been yet another billion in recent months to purchase a mansion in Miami. And just like that, blue states continue to see an exodus of wealthy folks - the trend is not slowing down. https://www.zerohedge.com/mark...blican-leaning-miami "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

Of course he is. I think I saw 5 Washington license plates yesterday. One was on a Bentley, but I’m guessing it was‘t him. We’re fairly far from Miami over here.

probably a good thing I don't have a cut |
Adding that he's moving to Florida to a 2 year old post about him going to space was a mistake. People never look at when the post was started and start rehashing the original topic and the stuff you posted today just gets lost in the confusion. I hope his neighbors remind him everyday about why he left Washington and he should stay out of politics in his new home so he doesn't fuck it up.
