A couple weeks ago, I listened to a podcast of a couple former Special Operations guys talking about the next domestic attack in the USA. They believed it would a Mumbai or October 7th Israel style attack. Then they talked about the Russians buying bunches of Iranian drones and that the Russians have just built a manufacturing plant for building those drones (the Russian business model has always been 10 out the front door and 50 out the back door). These guys believed the next attack would now be using drones to take out infra-structure (power, gas, and water) along with attacking anywhere with large groups of people.

Then I watched these two videos on lessons from Ukraine and Israel:

There was also another Garand Thumb video where they put on a "wargame" with Brandon Herrera where each would be hunted by drones on Garand Thumb's ranch. While there was a bit of fun to it, they all admitted to how frightening it would be and how all of them would have died in real life.



He also did a follow up video on how to evade drones from the ground about 3 months ago.

I’d be carrying a good shotgun gun on my pack with some 3” shells. Hearing one of throes would be terrifying. Especially after seeing all the videos of people being killed by them. I’m pretty good at skeet with my Franchi shotgun.

This will prompt new technology to fight them.
