I’m 80 years old and this reminds of the Polio scare in the 50s. Theaters closed, ball games canceled, meetings, trips on trains and planes canceled, and rumors of how to avoid getting it everyday. The big difference this time the news and MSM spending almost there whole show on it, basiclly scaring the hell out of the public, and inducing panic just to get ratings.

This has been a really bad year for the regular flu - which kills a lot of people - so if curtailing social contacts and washing our hands more often becomes common, then the incidence of the regular flu should go down...

Likewise, this may make the really hot spots for disease transmission - cruise ships, airliners, schools, nursing homes - implement better routine and persistent cleaning and screening procedures.

If we all go out to eat less, to avoid contacts, we may end up with more money in pocket. Although this will be rough on the restaurants and their staff.

And since we exported most of our high pollution industries to China... as they curtail production, global pollution will diminish.
