Bank on it. It was a huge deal for a Catholic to get elected, FFS, and Catholicism is yuge. Mormonism carries too much of a culty stigma to too many; right, wrong, or otherwise.

Plus he sucks, in general.

Being a Mormon is not what will keep Christians from voting for Romney, being part of the problem instead of part of the solution is what will keep Christians and others who respect the country and its laws from voting for Romney. If Trump runs for reelection in 2020 and Romney campaigns for the nomination Trump will give Romney the same beat down he gave his opponents in 2016.
