I have a 1.5in NPT male thread that needs to go into a 1in NPT female hole.

That means I need a 1.5in NPT female to 1in male adapter.

Maybe my Google skills are on standby.

Easily doable with two parts. (This often happens at the local farm supply store - we can order that (or not) or we can build it out of …”) In the case you’re looking at a 1 1/2” x 1” bell and a 1” short nipple (I hate close nipples, and want at least enough unthreaded pipe to get channel locks on) will give you what you’re looking for. If your supply place doesn’t have reducing bells you can do it in three fittings with a 1 1/2” coupler, a 1 1/2” x 1” bushing, and the same 1” nipple.

You "May" need to do it with two separate pieces.
One of these: https://www.amazon.com/Megairo...d=A9R8MBSY7L1UV&th=1
And a short piece of black iron/galvanized pipe threaded 1" NPT on both ends. (double ended male)
If I am reading your requested specs, you are reducing from 1.5" down to 1" and switching gender also.
Two pieces will do it nicely as long as you have the physical space available.

Yes, another way to do it in two parts, a 1 1/2” coupler and powermad’s reducing nipple.

The male end is the nipple.

At work I have to specify nipple when ordering a reducer if it has a male end or I just get a regular reducer, if we don't have a single piece then I just use a reducer and nipple.

DAMMIT!!

I tried "reducer" and "adapter".

Thanks, all.

I should’ve gone for the nipple first. It looks like it will have to be 2 parts. I’m not seeing one with a 1.5in female end.

These things would be much simpler if industry would simply make every combination I could ever possibly want. Smile
