I probably will. It's not a huge sum of money (about $1800) but still think maybe it's worth pursuing in small claims court and represent myself. The jury is still out on that one though ( thanks to everyone for the advice and insight! Icarus flew too close to the sun, but at least he flew. | |||

I was referring to the reason why he stated "unsure" on his updated disclosure. I always put "unknown" on anything I'm not sure about on the seller's disclosure. | |||

Changing the disclosure to Unsure is what I would do, unless I wanted to hire my own inspector. I wouldn't change it to 17 years based on what the buyer's inspector said. Before doing that I would want a 2nd opinion, and in NC wouldn't bother - just say Unsure. | |||
