Beautiful GSHEP! I have 2, one a 12 year old male and the other a 3 year old female. It took about a month for male to accept another dog into our home. They are now close, so close that I worry when he goes to the bridge she will struggle.

We hike ours as well and they seemingly live for those walks.

I had a pair of sibling long hair GSDs, for 13 years I had to vacuum every day. Over the years, I have had 5 GSDs, best dogs ever, but they do require good training, and they really need to understand what you want them to do, or they get anxious. That's a pretty girl.

Slow and steady progress! Freida is getting along fine with the rest of the canine crew:


Daily walks with the Gunner, but still no off leash time together, it will take however long it takes! It's a bit of a challenge keeping them separated, but it will eventually work out, daily walks together and time spent in the same room on leash to get familiarized for now.
