Agreed. My source of heartburn is not in nuclear power, believe me. IMO, it's one of the best things going.

Massive, no-name buildings/data centers are being built in Loudoun County. Bring up Google maps and find the intersection of Routes 625 and 607. Lots of them.

I'm sure they require massive amounts of electricity to run all the electronics. But that's not all. They also need massive amounts of electricity to run all the HVAC to cool all the electronics.

So, heat is created to make the power, then heat is created to run all the electronics and heat is created to run the HVAC. There's a pattern forming here....

On an unrelated note:

It's my belief that somewhere in the future some genius scientist will figure out how to "turn-off" radioactivity in waste.

Far-fetched? Maybe, but so many scientific discoveries were before, well, the discovery.
