Kind of a nice reasonable departure from the "say nothing" approach advocated by some.

He has written a number of times that if you take one of his courses, are involved in a shooting and followed his procedures, if your lawyer wants him to testify on your behalf, he will waive his fee. (You still pay other expenses.)

Not saying it's all bad - I don't know enough about that section of law to comment on it. However, if Ayoob wants to act like a lawyer, then he needs to become one, and be accountable Under that standard.
