dementia is a horrible affliction that robs elders of their last days. My mother was pretty much out of it the last 3 months of her live, but thankfully she died without much physical suffering at 93.

I salute you in your commitment to your friend. Those who are cursed with this need all the support they can get, and it's not an easy task.

Yup, our part of UK is in Tier 4 - effectively a lock-down situation with folks strongly advised NOT to leave their homes unless for emergency or to carry out essential tasks.

We figured that what WE did WAS essential.
