Planning on finally bringing the Midget home this weekend.
Thinking about putting a dashcam on it, with how diminutive it is, but being a convertible, not a lot of provision for locating the rear camera.

Does anyone make a dual channel F/R camera, with the rear camera in the same body as the front cam?
Or, would I just have to see if mounting the rear camera on the windshield as well, next to the front cam, would work?

I'd be more concerned that the camera might be bigger than the car! Take a sharp corner, and whoopsie, your upside down!

RTW rear-facing cameras, aren't many after-market cams designed to be mounted in the rear license plate holder?

You're looking for a Rideshare (Uber / Lyft / Taxi Camera) camera.

Here is dashcamtalk.com's best of 2023. They have a recommendation for best Rideshare (Uber / Lyft / Taxi Camera).

Dashcam Store rates this Garmin as best All-in-One rideshare dashcam. Looks to be more compact than the Viofo the other site recommended as it's an all-in-one form factor.

Thanks, I'd seen the taxi/Uber models, just wasn't sure how the rear quality would he for observing activity beyond the cockpit.

Be sure to turn off the rear camera if you decide to get "frisky" on a nice fall cruise with the wife.. or, girlfriend, yeah, probably want to turn that off in that case... Big Grin

Wink Might be tough in something as small as the Midget.
