I got an amazon order initiated at 9:30 AM at 1:30 PM the other day. 4 hours from hit the buy button to on my door step. I don't even live in the city.

egregoreOrders from Greg Cote are only limited in speed of delivery by that of the US mail. Amazon is seldom more than 2 days. A Prime membership helps to grease the wheels but is not absolutely necessary.

Patrick-SP2022I've gotten some amazon orders the same day.
Chewy often gets orders to me the next day. In fact, I have an order out for delivery that I placed last night.

Mustang-PaPaI may have received Amazon same day once but its routinely next day.
Other then Amazon I have routinely received ammo next day from SGAmmo if I order it early enough. They have the program to process orders down and ship UPS.

I was totally surprised because they said one to two hours

V-TailWent into Batteries Plus to buy some stuff. They said that the advertised discount only applied to online orders.
Went outside, sat in car, used iPhone to go online, place order, pay for items at discounted price, walked back into store and picked up the order.
Maybe two or three minutes from placing the order to picking it up.

Yep similar with Advance Auto, go in, discount for online purchases, whip out iPhone, place order and walked to the counter to pick it up, do the same at ChickFilA, order it while pulling into the pickup line.
