MicroStream or ProTac 1L-AA.

The MicroStream is nice and good all around but the ProTac can be set up for two modes. Low or high and either momentary or click on.

Sign up for e-mails, they're always doing 40% off sales.

Also, when you buy their light it comes with a battery and charge cable.
Nothing else to buy, unless you like to have extra batteries on hand.

These are my go to lights. Especially the rechargeable microstream. Black on is low/high. Brown one is high/low. I charge it once a month even though it doesn’t need it. Amazing battery life.

A fellow instructor put me onto this Streamlight, been carrying it for a few months now. Its small, rechargeable, and 250 lumen with momentary and dual mode.

The black version is low power mode on first click; FDE version is high power mode on first click.

I’ll second this choice. I have one and it is extremely bright. Three settings. Push buttons no twisting tail cap. Rechargeable. Only downside, it is near the upper end of your price range. The best light IMHO.

I also have the streamlight micro streamlight. Another excellent choice. Two settings and rechargeable. Not nearly as bright as the stiletto, but still very bright. Best bang for my buck.

I have 4 Nitecore lights one is a headlamp I have had on my hardhat for three years now. I use it daily. LOVE it. Two are more of an EDC. One is a key chain lite. I like them all. I'm sold on Nitecore products. That's all I buy now.

It is very bright although not for distance. Fine for use at a restaurant (remember those?) or movie theatre. But I almost always have immediate access to a Streamlight or Fenix, I have three or four stashed around the house, a couple in each of the cars, one in my briefcase that I take to and from the office every workday and when I travel, another couple in my desk at the office.

For the last 4 years, I have carried this SureFire Sidekick as my EDC on my keychain. Easy to charge as it has a micro-USB. Was considered bright back then with the highest of 3 settings at 300 lumens:

I am now considering the new Nitecore TUP at 1000 lumens also rechargeable:

God Bless !!! Smile
