This is what I use, too. It kills everything - fleas, flies, ticks, termites, mosquitos, ants, crickets and so on. It is safe to use inside and is labeled for food preparation facilities. It has a residual capabilty. A little goes a long way.

Just because you can,
doesn't mean you should

Perimeter treatment works to prevent but look around and find where they are coming in and also if there is a nest near your home.

All you need is a sprayer. I use it four times a year. I spray it inside and out, under eaves, into weep holes, plants, everywhere. I’ve been using bifen for over a decade and it’s worked for me.

This is the current bottle I have called Wisdom TC Flow…it’s the same thing as Bifen

If I get a mound of ants, I spray a three foot circle to get any guys out on patrol, then I spray about a quart into the mound. The next day you will find some dead ones on the surface. But this stuff kills them-not chasing them away to the neighbors to return later.

Same active ingredient as in Talstar P that I use. Works great on everything. You can use it inside as well.

They take it back to home base and kills the rest. The key is to find their trail and bait a few spots therein.

You can find it on Amazon.

This, we had sugar ants pop up, first time in many years, a couple of drops on the trail and they are gone. You can also get a tube at a DIY pest control and lawn store.

Advion works for me as well, plus it's so satisfying watching them pig out on their last meal knowing they're going to bring that back to the nest and kill everyone else.

Cotton balls, borax and sugar. Dissolve equal parts in hot water, then mix the cotton balls in. I set them up where ever the ants are. They confuse the borax for sugar, and kill off the colony.

Why use something that is toxic when you can use Spic Span with lavender for $1.25 at Dollar Tree.

Immediate: Ortho sprays like Home Defense inside and outside the house. Mainly at points of entry. Vacuum cleaner for trails inside.

Short term: Terra bait (has worked pretty well for me); I only use this outside the house. Also use various sprays around the perimeter to form a general barrier.

Longer term: I use elmers glue, caulk and such to close point of entry holes into the house. When ants are inside the house, I invest some time trying to figure out their point of entry and then seal it. This has worked well after a few years.

The dispatch of ants has become a part-time Job y of mine. I find the most effective Method is to turn out all the lights lay a flashlight down and follow their trail.

After while you can figure out which one is returning from food and which one is looking for food. Track the Trail as far back as you can until you get to the point of entry. Terro that spot for approximately two days leaving the rest of the ants undisturbed. After two days they should disappear.

Then head to the get your own pestcontrol.com website and get onslaught and bomb inside and out of the house in that area.

When they come back in 6 months repeat process.
