It is with a heavy heart that I share one of my closest friends has left us. Tiger was the proprietor of Shootrite Firearms Academy and formerly the right hand man at Thunder Ranch.

Tiger was also a gunsmith, knife maker, author and generally amazing guy. I don't have it in me right now to write a bio but he dedicated much of his life to learning and teaching firearms.

Rough day for those that knew him.

If you are in a position to help his family, they would appreciate it tremendously.

I'm not a fan of Go Fund Me, I didn't set up this Go Fund Me, his grieving wife didn't set up the Go Fund Me - but I did contribute to the family and NOT to the site, you can opt to have 100% of the donation go to the cause.

May he Rest in Peace.

I have read some of his works and watched some of his videos, pretty squared away guy. May he rest in peace.

Condolences to his family and friends.

While I’d not met Mr. McKee, I’d corresponded with him about a possible “Chopper” build and am a fan of his “The Book of Two Guns.” I’d posted a small pictorial tribute to him elsewhere that I’ll share below.

I was happy to see that the GoFundMe effort had exceeded its goal, also.
