I've got two of these in the past few days, since I'm not in the market I just hit them with the spam button, did google the company that was sending it out, and it didn't look right, then this hit on X

Give me a fucking break. Win X has zero to do with this hack. With a bit of effort you can have your ass kicked via Windows, Linux, or iOS. OS has zero to do with this scam.

As with most tech reports in the mainstream media, this is fairly inaccurate. Ultimately you're asked to download scumware when "scheduling" the interview, in this case for a junior programmer role, a role which should have at least a passing understanding of cybersecurity.
