hunter62Forgive me if this seems obvious, but did the Clintons/DNC technically do anything wrong here? They hired someone to investigate Trump, put together a report, and gave it to the DOJ and FBI.
I would LOVE for Hillary to go to jail. I don’t care fo what, but here is seems like the fault lies with the FBI and DOJ, so at best we might be able to fire some loyal democrat followers in those agencies?
Yes this whole thing is shady, how the hell does the DNC and the Clinton’s get to file a report on their competition for President and they FBI just goes with it. Now if Obama told the FBI to run with it, that would be nice information to have.

JALLENI’d like to know what those two in the WH, on the national security staff and WH counsel, had to show Nunes when they called him to come for a look.
Might there be evidence that the FISA stuff was included in the President’s Daily Briefing before the election and during the transition?

The greatest irony of this whole mess is that Clinton did exactly what Mueller is investigating President Trump for.
Hillary Clinton colluded with the Russians to interfere with the 2016 election of candidate Trump, and to attempt a coup to impeach President Trump.
Clinton thru various intermediaries paid for the dossier. The dossier is (supposedly) sourced by Russians including one currently in the Kremlin.
The people she paid used the wildly unverified dossier to leak to news media as if it were an intelligence document from a western country.
Those news reports were used as part of the FISA warrant to spy on Carter Page.
Top level FBI and DoJ personnel worked to trigger a "special counsel" (Mueller) to investigate President Trump on a wide open scope of "anything they can find".
The only reason this absurd situation exists is because we have a mainstream media that is acting completely part of the conspiracy and enabling the conspiracy.

There is no way they will allow this to contine and this is one of the reasons a special council becomes more and more important. It will be harder to stop that then to order the DOJ or the FBI to stop, or to cease all congressional investigations when they control the committees.
This is so true and in my thoughts daily. My thinking is that with a strong AG, we should be able to soldier on regardless of what happens in the House and Senate this November. We all need to be working hard these next 9 months in educating the low information voters and getting out the vote this Fall.
Talking points...we hear a lot about talking points. I'm going to open a thread where we can share talking points with each other to use in an effort to inform the uninformed via word of mouth, social media, etc.
The key to winning the mid-terms is simple...voter turnout. If we turnout more voters than the opposition, we win. It's that simple and we need to start NOW.

Yeah, there was some thread they found that allowed Nunes to start pulling. Could be a number of things - emails, briefs, memos, etc.
I mean it’s obvious that early on Trump thought he was being wiretapped (or someone in his campaign) - obviously after tweeting all of that, he had to point to the MSM articles as the ‘proof’ for his tweets, but they likely found that thread in something at the WH.

downtownvFBI Director Tries To Shore Up Morale With Desperate Letter
By Andrew McNealy - February 3, 2018
Christopher Wray
"This is not the best day I have had at work..."
Christopher Wray, the FBI director, is apparently trying to shore up morale at the FBI-writing a sad, desperate letter to his staff.
Wray wrote:
The American people read the papers, and they hear lots of talk on cable TV and social media. But they see and experience the actual work you do — keeping communities safe and our nation secure, often dealing with sensitive matters and making decisions under difficult circumstances. And that work will always matter more.
Talk is cheap: the work you do is what will endure.
We speak through our work. One case at a time. One intelligence product at a time. One decision at a time.
We do that work, and we stay laser-focused on doing great work, even when it’s not easy, because we believe in the FBI. We believe in what it stands for and what this institution means to people.
And nothing is going to change that.
We’re going to keep doing that work, because we know who we are, and because we know the our mission comes first. The American people come first.
So I ask you to keep doing your great work and keep being the great people you are. And I know that I consider it an incredible privilege to work beside you-and that I’m determined to defend your integrity and professionalism every day.
Remember: keep calm and tackle hard.
Thank you for standing strong together-and for keeping your faith in this institution that means so much to all of us.

I forget the pundit or talking head But this is the reason the full court effort- It all leads back to the presidential daily briefs + bho.

sdyNunes visit to WH
Two very important dates. I believe they are extremely related.
15 Mar 2017 Dan Coats confirmed DNI Director of National Intelligence
21 Mar 2017 Devin Nunes goes to WH
https://www.bloomberg.com/view...is-white-house-visitNunes, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, made the explosive allegation that he had viewed dozens of intelligence reports obtained through government eavesdropping that inappropriately included details about the Trump transition team.
Nunes told me that he ended up meeting his source on the White House grounds because it was the most convenient secure location with a computer connected to the system that included the reports, which are only distributed within the executive branch
Nunes has also said the reports he viewed included information that should not have been widely distributed inside the government. In some cases, he said the names of Trump advisers caught up incidentally in the eavesdropping were not expunged from surveillance reports as those of U.S. persons should have been.
Most important, Nunes told me these reports were sent to the Obama White House among other executive branch agencies. Nunes until now had only said the reports he viewed were widely distributed inside the government. "The reports included details about the Trump transition, meetings of Trump and senior advisers, they were distributed throughout the intelligence community and to the White House," Nunes said. "In some cases, there was additional unmasking of Trump transition team officials."
*************
Devin Nunes must be one of the most frustrated people in America. He knows so much more of the corruption.
OTOH, Dan Coats may be even more frustrated. When this is more fully public info, we may find another hero in this: Dan Coats
adding: for as bad as things seem with all the massive lying and obstruction from DEMs and news media, President Trump now has some key players in powerful positions throughout govt.
We may be seeing some of those people working w the congressional oversight committees to battle a conspiracy that ranks near the top of threats to our country. Let's try to do everything we can to help.
Keep telling your friends and relatives of what is happening. Most of America is blind to this.

signewtso is there an actual secure "cone of silence" the POTUS might have that really IS secure?
Was NSA following POTUS pre-Trump.pres as routine?
Just how deep does the 'security review' process go in otherwise normal daily POTUS activities?
And when really DID it start? How does one become a 'Watcher', etc?
I don't mean this in a conspiratorial way, rather as some extension of the Dark Unknown Rules of such as the Patriot Act.

As far as I can see, as soon as Dan Coats took over as DNI he saw this stuff and called Nunes to look at it. Prior to that the Deep State DNI leadership had withheld it.

I wish it were that simple. But to get more Republican votes than Democrat votes we have to do more than just energize the Republican base. We must also:
-- Eliminate voter fraud. Note that the left LOVES to assert that H. Clinton "won" the popular vote. But if you subtract all the illegal aliens who voted, all the dead Democrats who voted, all the single voter multiple votes cast, etc., then she came nowhere near winning the popular vote. The fact is that voter fraud is a HUGE problem, and we absolutely MUST eliminate it. If the vote is close, fraud will put the win in the Democrat column.
-- Demoralize the left's sheep so that they stay home instead of going to the polls. Make them believe that their vote is meaningless; make them come to understand that their candidates are in fact the worthless, self-serving, criminal scum bags that they are; and that voting for them is a waste of their time.
Thanks,
Sap

I've been saying this for months and it's even more pertinent now - if Mueller had an ounce of integrity his investigation would end with Hillary, Hillary's campaign team, and DNC indictments. This whole thing has been Fast & Furious all over again - Demonrats set up something illegal to fit their narrative then they all at the same time start talking about it to the media and they keep talking about it.

I agree. But... why did Mueller choose a team comprised almost entirely of Clinton/Democrat campaign donors?
It seems that if he wanted this investigation to be fair and balanced he would have chosen a more balanced team.
Soon... we will find out if Mueller has an ounce of integrity.
