A lesson form the team members and from their fans. They are a refreshing break from the typical yobs that attend soccer games.

SigmundI lived in Japan (Kure, near Hiroshima) four years as an Army civilian. I am nothing but good to say about the Japanese people.

You obviously never worked for a Japanese company in the US! My experience was working for the most bigoted, morally decrepit individuals I have ever met. "Americans are Stupid" was heard many times, as was the bragging about how much they paid for American prostitutes in New York City. I could elaborate about them hitting subordinates in the head if the boss disagreed with what was said and degrading Chinese & Koreans. Also my wife is currently in Rostov-na-Donu and heard nothing of this.

WayniacMost Japanese schools don’t employ janitors. Daily cleanup is performed by the students and teachers.

That's not a bad idea. Nothing like having to clean up your own mess. It may also teach some of these kids respect for the school if they take ownership of the property

There is truth to both sides of this discussion. The Japanese are extremely polite, clean and cooperative people, particularly among themselves.
However, they have a strong sense of innate superiority that places them above everyone else to their own thinking and that comes out as bigotry and distain for others.
They have a particularly dismissive attitude toward other Asians and the Chinese and Koreans certainly return the favor. It was this attitude that allowed them to commit unspeakable atrocities in China, Manchuria, Korea, etc. prior to and during WWII. They weren't torturing, raping and killing "real people", just some lower form of animal. This attitude hasn't gone completely away.
