Second time filling it up, after the fuel light came on 90 miles on the odo. Lol. I was aware of this before I bought it, it’s similar to a Sportster. It’s not a long distance bike. Took my wife out for her first ride. She loved it. The backrest was very appreciated. Had a nice Sunday afternoon “date”, and rode to a popular Mexican restaurant. Took my oldest son out a few hours later. His first ride on a streetbike. Now he wants one. Not sure how I feel about that. I’m a bad role model. I told him if anything, learn to ride in the dirt first. ----------------- I apologize now...

Speaking from experience I learned on the street first....with a crotch rocket after my 550 Honda. Then I got into dirtbike racing big time and took a year off street riding. The next time I went street riding it had been a year or two. Riding a GPZ1100 I got on it a little hard and the back tire started sliding out. My dirt racing experience kicked in and it was no big deal that my tires were slipping. Prior to dirtbike racing I was always freaked out if I broke traction on the street. Now instincts took over and saved my but. Definitely recommend dirt first if you have the option.
