Liquid Death, what a stupid name but sure does taste good
Years back I got some promo thing for a free case of Liquid Death. Back then it was just water in a can. Water in a can was weird I never paid for any.

I drink WAY TOO MUCH soda and really need to cut it out. Finding a replacement is difficult I was drinking Hint and that kind of worked but wanted a little bubble from time to time. Started trying some Topo Chico and other flavored mineral waters but did not like the taste enough to justify the cost.

Ran into Liquid Death Sparkling Water Killer Cola and Doctor Death. Just carbonated water, agave nectar, and stevia. No caffeine and only 2 grams of sugar per can. Figured what the heck.
These two are actually really good. Name is pretty stupid but the stuff sure is tasty. They have some flavored teas that I need to try. Looks like a Root Beer to but have not seen that in the store.

artificial sweetners are a no go for me.
regular tap water and a slice of lemon you might try.

I like the sparkling waters you can get at Walmart. They have a lot of different flavors and brands. The lime bubly is my favorite but bettergoods and polar aren't bad either. All have no calories or sweeteners and run under $4.00 for an 8 pack.

I like it, don't buy it all the time but, sometimes it's a good alternative than just a basic bottle of water.

Artificial sweeteners are a no go for me as well. That’s why I tried this Liquid Death stuff.

I cut soda after having covid a few years ago, just lost the taste for it. Same with sweet tea, have pretty much gone to unsweet.
I was a 2-4 Dr P a day drinker.

Topo Chico [lime], LaCroix & the like are my go-to now.

I might have a soda once a month now, but it's a rarity.

Haven't tried the Liquid Death, but have seen it around. Might have to try one.

I despise the idea of altering what I do for "health" reasons. That said, I don't like flavored waters of pretty much any stripe, I have taken to drinking Perrier when I want some extra zip (about half the time with tap water being the other half). Even that is right on the edge of too much.

There is a brand of lightly-flavored fruity drinks that my wife likes, Soliel. I can stand these as mixers in a cocktail (funny, I don't mind flavors in alcohol drinks).

I don't think I've swilled a main market soda drink (Coke, Pepsi, 7-Up, etc.) since the 70's, and the thought of drinking such is disgusting. Stevia and other artificial "sweeteners" taste chemically and nasty to me, and have never had much of a sweet tooth for sugary foods either.

Not that any of this forbearance has helped my health situation any, I have all the typical old man ailments. My sister is adamant that what you put down your throat is a major component of your health. I prefer to think the human body is such an efficient chemical plant that it can tolerate far more deviance than is generally believed.

After all, we evolved eating pretty much whatever we could get our hands on for millions of years.

If you like Liquid Death, you'll like how it came to be even more. Check out their story.

I like bubble waters in general. Liquid Death, Topo Chico, Perrier, San Pellegrino. My problem with Liquid Death is it comes in big cans, and I can't reseal them, so a lot goes to waste. I prefer my bubble waters in resealable bottles.

I've tried a couple of their flavors and I'm not really a fan. My sister would say it's an adult taste and I just don't have the ability to appreciate it. I will just stick with my Mountain Dew.

Garden hose, but wait till the water cools off a bit!
What the hell is Stevia anyway? I switched to Pepsi zero sugar but two or three a day is too many.
Been buying Gatorade. At my age, does it matter? Give me some more Red Dye 40 Big Grin

I'm a San Pellegrino guy myself. I get a case of the 1 liter bottles every few weeks.

I gave up soda around 2010, and nowadays I drink sparkling water when I get tired of tap water or coffee.

Stevia is a sweet sugar substitute that is about 50 to 300 times sweeter than sugar. It is extracted from the leaves of Stevia rebaudiana, a plant native to areas of Paraguay and Brazil. The active compounds in stevia are steviol glycosides. Stevia is heat-stable, pH-stable, and not fermentable.

For me, that's far better than high fructose corn syrup.

I can usually taste when something is sweetened with stevia or erythritol. Just a slightly different taste, not a fan.

I drink a lot of flavored sparkling water in cans, maybe 3-4 a day in the summer. We buy cases of Rambler, LaCroix, and Waterloo water when on sale, we normally stock 4-5 cases at any given time, and these have no sweeteners, just sparkling water and natural flavors. Started this habit decades ago when I cut out soda and cut back on beer, drinking carbonated water is a great substitute. We do keep a little bit of Vernor's Ginger Ale on hand, I'll drink one maybe once or twice a month.

I am the same. However this is not bad at all. It’s certainly no Coke or Dr Pepper but a very acceptable replacement for trying to cut the sugar.
