I gave up on "the news" on TV roughly a year ago, after seeing Pelosi trying to make the case of mail-in ballots, etc. after a reporter boldly asked about the possibility of fraud (the gist of it, once the ballots are in and counted, how can you seperate them?). Once in a while, I'll go on-line to stories of important things, like hurricanes. But otherwise they can go bankrupt, and lay off everyone so they can get good, honest work, like hoisting household waste containers onto the truck's lift.

I used to watch Meet the Depressed Press when Tim Russert hosted it (which tells you how long ago it was). He asked tough questions of everybody, yet was still affable, like a bartender pouring boilermakers at a friendly tavern. Not since he died at just 58 years old.

We sometimes watch Bill Oreilly and Jesse Kelly on The First -Roku channel. Local news in unwatchable even for the weather. Have no idea what is going on locally, but the city is now solidly going farther Left (Indianapolis) and we see multiple plates from Dem cities so unlikely to get better. Wish I knew where to move before the city goes full retard. Feel like a foreigner in my neighborhood now

No CNN, FOX, MSNBC, BBC, etc, no Hannity, no CTH, nobody like that, unless by accident or the occasional decision to follow a link to their site and that only comes after sourcing the news item elsewhere.

I scan a bunch of online sources for headlines, open Tabs for some that interest me, and sort of subconsciously cross reference these things I see with mentions of the same in circles I trust, like here.

The more a topic interets me or the more mentions I'm seeing here and there, the more I proactively seek out news about the given event or topic. But only when I want it. I no longer passively-watch "The-News".

Various communities I enjoy, and myself, are much better Curators and Filters of "The News".

They, "Big News", lost my trust ages ago.

I will from time to time look at something on a mainstream outlet just to see what kind of BS spin they are putting on it or if they even bothered to report it.

Yes. I stopped watching the news a couple years back but used some news apps on my phone to keep up with things but also listened to local talk radio that tended to lean toward the conservative side.
I was always pissed off listening. I quit listening to talk radio all together, deleted all my news apps.
I am much less pissed off now a days. I do catch some news articles on here and stuff friends send but that is about it.

No, not entirely. But I used to be a news junkie. Now I mostly read online. Sigforum is both a good source and a good filter.

I gave it up entirely after the last election. Deleted all social media and news apps. I have so much more free time now. At night I’ll watch some Scrubs reruns or shows about Alaska.

I quit watching ALL network news about a year before the election - the only channel I watched was Fox. I stopped watching Fox election night.

I get my news from OANN on line and the Epoch Times.

All other news I get from here.

Haven't watched news in years. If I'd like an update, I will visit here first, then maybe peruse several of the more conservative news websites!

The only opinion show I watch is Tucker (unless I have planned to watch something else.) That's it. I have no interest in watching any of the other opinion hosts. I will watch a max of 1/2 hour "regular" news, mainly because my wife watches.

I live in the Philadelphia TV market. As far as local news, I sometimes say I could watch a repeat and besides sports and the weather, it's the same every day. The show will open with the body count in the last 24 hours. (Since this is Philly, there is always at least a shooting, if not a few murders.) Next up is the occasional human interest story. Then sports, then the weather. Done. Repeat the next day.

Watching the 'news' is like watching a 'soap opera'. Interesting to watch how or what is 'reported' according to the formula of the day. Use it to focus my pursuit in something of interest. It is just another form of entertainment! NOT information! I can read with the best of the 'news readers' and I don't need a teleprompter!

I have completely given up on television. Don't even turn it on anymore.

Rarely watch any news on TV unless some major weather event or natural disaster is happening. I do have a couple of apps on my phone that I'll pull up a few times a week and scan the headlines.

I also am on facebook to keep track of my family doings and happen to see some news-ish articles on there at times... Facebook is how I keep track of my brother and my two daughters.

Full stop on watching any news channel which used to be Fox, OANN and Newsmax - and much better off for it - I check in here and a couple other sites to see what the overall pulse is. My overall well being is all the better for it - I even stopped talking politics for the most part with many in my circle and most are doing the same

I'm now okay with being uninformed - if it gets bad enough we will all know whether we are 24/7 watching news or not

I completely stopped watching and listening to news immediately after the election. I use to enjoy listening to the local conservative radio station but no longer turn the radio on. I’m done with it and happier for it.
