I quit TV local and national news the morning after the 2020 November Election. I could not take any more bull shit from those Socialistic leaning talking heads.

I listen to right wing radio in the morning.

Ham radio through out the day and short wave radio at night.

Otherwise, I have over 100 classic movies to keep me and the TV busy.

The wife gets pissed at me 'cause I turn on cartoons in the AM, instead of the local news.

Right there w/you Para. My wife & I cut the cord to cable mid-Nov of last year and I don’t spend a second watching news. The only outlets are OAN and Sigforum, which I of course READ. All other outlets, except perhaps Newsmax which to me is too clunky, are leftist controlled… Goebbels would jerk off at having such allies.

Don’t even get me started on late night shows. We’ve gone from from best-in-class Carson to the shitshows of today - Colbert and Fallon.

I'll watch the local Fox channel in the morning for weather and traffic, but that's it. I get all the important news I need right here on SigForum.

I stopped watching the news in 2012 after the election. I'd had it. In 2016 I started visiting a website here and there, but soon abandoned that as well. I get almost all of my news from SIGforum. That's one of the reasons, while I'm not a major contributor, I visit daily.

I have not ever seen a story get it right when I have first hand knowledge of the described event. And that's the least offensive sin media outlets commit. Think about that: the smallest problem the news has is consistently inaccurate facts. That's a sad statement.

Other than watching Trumps rallies, weather since we are in FL and it's Hurricane season, and a bit of local like the Condo issue in S FL, but as far as national news TV services, yes pretty much right after the election.

Ever since the fiasco of 2020 Election Day reporting, I haven’t turned the TV on for any of the National news channels, nor even the local folks.

The only “real news” site that I check out is the Brit newspaper “Daily Mail”, so I can get an unfiltered (more or less) report on what is happening in the USA and the world. Sad commentary when an American has to go overseas for “real news” about the home country. The DM does focus are those two pretend royal twats residing in Commiefornication a lot!

I will check the local TV news websites, but that is only to see how many homicides have occurred in the Metro (FYI, as of today there are 103; an increase of 80+% in this year alone over last year; another record-breaking year in the offing already). Otherwise the local news is just a regurgitation of the same talking points of the national viewpoints.

TV channels watched are Smithsonian, NatGeo, various crime shows (Law&Order unless they get too preachy), and Hallmark.

I haven’t watched much news since one November evening in 2008. I do tune in to the local news channel occasionally, mostly for the weather guys. But national, corporate propaganda channels, no thank you.

I stopped watching news on tv in 2018.
Just made my blood pressure go up.
I read the news online giving me the ability to only read the subjects I’m interested in.
But I make an effort to get my news from multiple sources in an attempt to get a better / fuller picture of a topic.
I don’t feel like I’m missing out of the daily brainwashing sessions.

Following Trump's election (and prior to his inauguration) I watched ABCNews speculate on how soon he could be impeached for his private business dealings. Could he be impeached the day he took office?

I stopped watching then, and don't plan on wasting any more of my time with MSM ever again.

I watch local news via OTA with morning coffee, for about the first five minutes of any half-hour segment. Usually the local lead is of some interest, such as shootings, robberies, car crashes, etc. I don't have cable, so there is no temptation to just watch what is on. In the car, on SiriusXM, I find myself listening to NASCAR, NFL, and an assortment of music. From time to time I check FoxNews "The Five" to recapture the great years of Fox...and those years are long gone. Lots of complaining, no real reporting, and sycophantic guests.

I ditched CNN on Election Night 2016 when they refused to call the election for Trump, even past midnight ET when it was quite clear he had won.

I ditched Fox News Election Night 2020 when it was clear they were doing everything in their power to ensure a Trump loss, even that ridiculous early call on Arizona.

The only news I follow anymore is Zero Hedge and the UK Daily Mail, I’m done with mainstream US “news”.

At least with CNN and MSNBC, you knew who your enemies were. Fox showed their true colors that night.
