None, no TV news, no radio news, no newspaper, no youtube/instagram/facebook/reddit. No interest in resuming. Once in a while I will come accross a news presentation or promotion while flipping, if I stick around for a few seconds of inane "reporting," my brain starts leaking out my ears. Worse than commercials even.

Once in an even longer while I will find myself at a friend's who is watching TV, and they don't even use their mute button on commercials. WTF?!?!?!?! I wear out the mute button about a week after I get a new remote.

There's good stuff to be found on TV. Despite PBS's disgusting political bias, there are marvelous programs like Nova to be had. There are old films, old TV series, but you know this, of course.
Yes, of course there are some things that are worth watching, but it is just to frustrating for me to try to understand dialog. My hearing aids do not provide enough clarity for decent comprehension from electronic devices -- television, telephone, etc.

I have maybe 70% to 80% comprehension when face to face with somebody, probably less than half of that when trying to listen to a voice through an electronic device. It just is not worth the effort for me.

Mrs. Mike and I shitcanned our cable several months ago…now we have a fire stick and watch movies on it.

I visit several websites daily but it’s really only to see the different (or exactly the same ) news. Mostly local central TX for the WX and to see their slant.

Lives been a lot less bothersome

I stopped watching Fox News after the election and don't plan to start back. I don't even go to their website.

Yes, have not watched any television news for at least a couple years or so, I really don't remember.

Reason is that, in a household of women, they have their television in the den and I have mine in the family room. A couple years ago I got a fire stick and mainly watch whatever is through the internet. Gave up the local live television since too much hassle to figure how to toggle back and forth. Found it is a lot easier and faster for me to skim the news, locally and nationally, on my phone/tablet/computer.

The only "news" that I tune into is on the 7's for traffic and weather.
And these days they are way behind apps and such.
By the time that it hits the air you are already stuck in it.

Anything that I need more information on I get it here.

Yes, I've stopped watching. I can get the weather forecast in an app so the news is useless to me.

Not entirely. I still have a subscription to the Wall Street Journal.

It's like getting two papers for the price of one: The op-ed pages are good, but the "news" pages are full of your typical leftist propaganda.

Yes. Stopped after Trump was elected because I got tired of the bashing and the opinions instead of actual news.

I stick to reading what I want to read, but those click bait titles fool me every now and again. So Sigforum lounge is where I get most of my news.

Yesm a long time ago. I cannot remember the last time I watched any news programming. I listen to the local news occasionally while driving.

Mostly, but not altogether. Absolutely never the Big Three networks, nor CNN or MSNBC. I'll watch Fox sometimes. I like Fox & Friends, Tucker Carlson, Jeanine Pirro, Mark Levin, etc. My congresswoman gives interviews on Newsmax.

Quit watching 'This is the news we want you to believe' in about 7 years. It's mostly a lie.

Yes. It’s been probably ten years since I watched any news on TV beyond a minute or two when it’s on in a public place. I don’t even watch weather on TV.

I get all my news from various online sites, none of which are from any mainstream media source.

Yes, I stopped. Don’t know when. Maybe when streaming videos became more available, and I realized I didn’t have to sit through bullshit ads and news?
I know when I visit my sis they have a big flat screen going ALL the time with news. It freaks me out a bit, but I’m only there a few times/yr for 3-4 days. My folks are the same, they keep theirs on in the kitchen, but with them I think it’s a lifelong habit.

I’m pretty sure they think I’m the weird one.
Either way, my son is mesmerized by their media.
I get the news filtered through here, pretty much.

Done with national tv news on cable. I will watch local for weather/traffic. However, I will visit https://www.theepochtimes.com and I get their email alerts.

Haven’t watched the news for several years. Don’t have cable. I browse the headlines at a couple of websites a few times a week.
