Chris Christie, the former New Jersey governor who has branded himself as the only Republican willing and able to take down former President Donald Trump, will enter the 2024 presidential race next week.

He has been expected to join the race and will formally make the announcement at 6:30 p.m. next Tuesday during a town hall at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire. The announcement was first reported by Axios.

Christie's campaign will be spearheaded by longtime advisors Mike DuHaime and Maria Comella, according to the New York Times. DuHaime served as Christie's top political strategist in 2016, and Comella was chief of staff to former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

The Tell It Like It Is super PAC has been set up in the former governor's support. GOP operative Brian Jones, as well as Republican National Committee member Bill Palatucci and Russ Schriefer − all longtime advisers − will lead that operation.

“Governor Christie has proven he’s unafraid to tell it like it is and is willing to confront the hard truths that currently threaten the future of the Republican Party,” Jones said in a statement. “Now more than ever we need leaders that have the courage to say not what we want to hear, but what we need to hear.”

He can go pound sand.

He thinks far too much of himself.

He knows he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning. He's only doing it to make money...and perhaps hurt Trump a little.

He’s a big nothing burger! He just another never Trumper who believes that his views are relevant. He will finish about the same level as kamel toe did in the primary.

No, what we need is leaders who have the courage to stop with the talking and start doing the things that need to be done.

He sees an opportunity for graft. For example, one item in the standard playbook is to have an autobiography ghost written, publish it shortly after the official start of the campaign, and then the RINO donor turds can avoid campaign donation laws by buying tens of thousands of copies.

What a waste of time and money.

He's an egomaniac who is in it for the federal campaign funds and to have a pulpit from which he can snipe at Donald Trump. He knows the score. He will never be POTUS and he knows it.

In the campaign leading up to the WH, Christie thought himself The Man, next to Trump. Kept trying to position himself front and center in photo ops, trying to take calls for Trump on his own cell phone, and his biggest sin, as head of the transition team, filled the cabinet spots with lobbyists he personally knew, and appointing Jersey friends into key leadership positions, all which reportedly infuriated Trump, and prompting him to fire Christie from the transition team.

The guy simply wore out his welcome in no time flat, who reluctantly stuck around for crumbs, and now he cries about it like a baby.

Well....this will be a circus now.

Oh, campaign funds and a bully pulpit so he can hear himself talk. That’s why
