Hi everyone, can someone recommend a good set of noise canceling earbuds for the gym i.e. a sweaty environment? I have an inexpensive set from Anker that have lasted two years, but they are on the way out. I would prefer wireless, but the buds can be connected by wire to each other. A microphone isn't necessary. My budget is $100 or less and they need to be able to work with an Android phone. No Apple products please. Thanks in advance.

I've had good experience with SkullCandy and these appear to fit your budget since Bose is out of your budget:
Soundcore Liberty Neo - catch them on sale for $30ish. They might be owned by Anker (can't remember). Work well, sound good & don't fall out often when you sweat.
I have these, use them when riding my mountain bike. Haven't used them in a sweaty gym environment but would have to think they'd work well.

Something that may help you get by with lesser buds....
I have had good luck with some less expensive options when I add "Comply" brand FOAM replacement earplug tips. You can buy an assortment of sizes and narrow down the right size and then buy those. In my estimation, the Foam makes NON-noise cancelling almost as good as noise- cancelling IF they fit right and they make noise cancelling amazing (though not as amazing as Audiologist- fit ones!)
I play bass and this is critical in the right sound if using in- ear monitors. So I stole the idea from bassists and use it on my yardwork and exercise pairs.

Plantronics, FIT 350 perhaps? I'm happy with mine.

Just bought these...they work really well (with Apple). Likely good w Android as well.
Good noise canceling (on apple you need the app to turn on the NC). Use them in the gym a lot. Less than $70

How do these fit in your ear? The buds look a little shallow. The issue at the gym is loud music. I like to listen to podcasts, which are all over the place with their volume levels. Some of them are very difficult to hear if the fit isn't good.

I like them a lot -- a slight twist and they "seal," sort of like foam ear plugs. And the over-ear piece keeps them in place while running, biking, and such. I like the cord-between-them plan; I'm scared to death of dropping/losing an AirPod.

Okay, thanks again! I like the cord between the buds too.
One other question: How is the volume range on these? I bought a pair of buds last year supposedly designed for work use. They let in more ambient noise than my non-noise canceling buds, and the volume range was also less than the old pair.

I'm not sure I know how to quantify the volume range, but I can tell you I've used them while running mowers and chainsaws, and enjoyed the music all the while.
