It’s been a long time since I posted on sigforum.

I apologize if this is the wrong place. When I read about this on arfcom, I came back here to see if this is the same person I used to see here, but it doesn’t seem like anyone knows anything. I’m hoping this is just a coincidental name

Last post I found by him was Apr of 2020.

ETA: We also have an ottosig who is pretty active.

Otto Pilot's profile shows an email address. When I search my personal email for that address, it comes up, but it comes up under a different name than Randall Otto. Intials for the person associated with that email address are R. B.

That coincides with a timeframe I would know. I remember ottosig too. Regardless. I thought people would want to know. I hope it’s not the same person.

OttoSig is still in Seoul.

Otto Pilot's location says Denver. The murder is in Chattanooga. So, maybe it's not him.

It would have been better if you had contacted me via email. I'm not scolding you, I'm just telling you, in the hope other members will see this and act accordingly if ever something like this should come up.

Also, the link to arfcom you posted is generic, doesn't show any particular thread.

I don't understand why you left the forum in the first place, unless it was because of that argument you had with another member.

I stepped back from all forums and social media around that time. I still lurk. Just found it better not to engage anymore. My blood pressure went down and my happiness went up. I spent a very very long time here, almost exclusively, and I think it became too personal for me. Much easier to lurk someplace where I don’t have history with the players

I should have emailed you I thought about it, and then chose the easier way. That was selfish of me, and I apologize. This was “home” for a long time, and you deserved better than me just emerging and dropping this bomb.
