I have watched all kinds of TV shows, and even a few movies, on TV about the FBI, fighting commies, fighting crooks, fighting gangs, etc.

I have also watch quite a few semi documentaries about the Italian Mafia, although I didn’t see but snippets of the recent series “The Sopranos.”

The big crime families were very ambitiously trying to expand, more power, more money, fighting among themselves over territory, scams, who controlled what, the judges, politicians, the garbage business, the docks, loan sharking, numbers, prostitution, even drugs, etc.

The FBI interfered with these ambitions to a certain extent, using informants, undercover agents, wire taps, breaking omerta. It was very expensive for the Mob to evade these tactics, bad for business, etc.

So here is the novel, about a crime family that has the idea to plant informants and undercover agents in the FBI, take over the FBI and neutralize it, use it against the competition, so to speak.

They succeed beyond their wildest dreams, where the Boss even selects the director of the FBI, but still have trouble with rats, leaks. Just when they think they have it made, this wealthy powerful do-gooder PITA comes in and ruins everything.

Whaddaya think?

I’m still working on my latest book, The Power of Positive Procrastination. Well, I’m planning to work on it, some time soon. But once I get that done, I’m free to work on this novel.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Sounds more like a history book.

So, tell me how it ends!

I’m shocked to think that some think this has any parallel in actual reality.

There are no crime families operating in politics, surely.

So you’re writing a book about the Obama presidency and the rise of Donald J. Trump? Smile

Dinesh Di'sousa already outlined how that has already happened, by hillary and obama.

They subverted the FBI & DOJ into a mob-like operation and used them in a mob like way.

But read what happened to this guy Joe Salvati,

All at the hands of the FBI way before Obozo.

I’m thinking about getting started one of these days.

It drives my wife nuts. She wants me to join a support group, and I might some day.

I looked into it and found one. There is plenty of time. It hasn’t met yet.
