When Monty Python first aired on KERA (Dallas’ PBS station) in the mid ‘70s, I was immediately hooked. As others have said, others in their lives just never got them. My favorite bit was the Bishop. Fast forward to the late ‘90s-early 2000s, we attended a Texas Rangers game. A couple teens sat behind us with their dads. They spent the whole evening riffing Python bits, as if they had discovered Monty Python and no one else knew about them. ![]() Bill Gullette | |||
