There is a nail in my finger. I shot myself with the nailgun. I was putting up shiplap siding and the nail must have hit a knot and shot out sideways. Ughhhh.

Yes, I'm a believer with eye protection. Emergency room drama is killing me. I cant wait to get out of here.

Skins2881Me too. Pro tip, refinish handles, then sharpen knife. Sharpening first may lead to ER trip and forced unpaid leave from work.
They were only able to stitch one, the middle finger was too thin and was holding together on its own.

When we were in high school, my cousin attempted to toe nail a wall stud with a framing gun and the nail curled all the way back and went through the bottom of his shoe and into the bottom of his foot between his big toe and adjacent digit. That boy bled everywhere as his father and I tried to get that nail out of his foot.

mike28wFwiw…. It could be worse....I know of a fellow who was loading his nail gun and it fired...….He nailed his testicle to his femur !!!
The doc removed it by grabbing it ( the nail, not the testicle) with vice grips and pounding on the vice grips with a hammer..... Yikes !

GTOToenailing not recommended with nailgun. Ask me how I know. Doctor did an awesome job on removing nail. Shot the finger with pain killer.
