I walk the dog nightly on a very dark path.

I can see well enough to walk but need something that lights me up enough for bikes and joggers not to run into me.

I have had bikes outrun their weak headlight and having to move quickly out of the way.

I am sure runners and joggers need something like this.

I am using a headband light on my are that is ok but burning up batteries.

I am walking 10 to 12 hours a week in the dark this time of year.

It will get less as the days get longer.

We have a battery-powered LED that clips to the dog's collar, shifts colors, not super bright. Should be available at most pet stores. Something similar to this.

I use these. Good battery life and not that expensive. I use a couple after a neighbor almost hit me one morning.

The company is Nite Ize, they have stuff for dogs too. https://www.niteize.com/collection/Pet.asp

Let me help you out. Which way did you come in?

My wife and her friends wear these and have been very happy with them. They also make them for dogs.

There is a running group that starts runs from the shoe store in the strip mall near my house. Most of the runners are wearing those https://www.noxgear.com/tracer360.

I definitely notice them in low light conditions.

Wife bought me the Noxgear Tracer 360 as linked in the post above. It's extremely light weight. It's highly visible. You can choose the color of the light and whether it flashes or not. There are optional reflective shoulder strips you can buy and add to the unit. Highly recommend.

Two things:
- The driver of a vehicle and cyclists will be looking at you from the waist up, with particular attention to your head, so, have some reflectivity on the back of your head/shoulder area, the NiteEze TagLit is perfect.

- You'll want both passive and active visibility. Passive being a reflective PT belt or, similar. Active being a flashing light.

+1 for a reflective dog collar/harness and a light on the dog as well.

I used to do the same, and had lights on both of us.

I have a Noxgear for our Golden Retriever and I’m very happy with it.

I also wear one of those construction worker safety vests. They are $8 on Amazon.

I’m thinking about adding one of those collars that right up as well. They are put that expensive and when walking at night I think more is better.
