Colorized WW2 PTO photos
An interesting article from The Daily Mail, showcasing 19 recently colorized photos of US forces fighting in the Pacific Theater from 1942-1945.

Lmao. I thought the same thing. Thought about Radar mailing home the jeep piece by piece on M.A.S.H. Those photos are great. The guy who did them really did a great job.

Definitely a Light Japanese tank. Something on a Ha-Go chassis for certain. Under 8 tons.

I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. -Ecclesiastes 9:11

The pictures are really great but I would be wary of the accuracy of the captions. The Dauntless on the carrier deck wears the tail markings of the Yorktown air group yet the caption says it is on the Hornet. While I suppose that is possible, it isn't likely.
