OK, the only dumb question is the one not asked.
I have a mower with a Kawasaki FR730V engine that I am on a lot in the summer time. Blue tooth headphones work great to listen to music on my phone but if someone calls me I have to shut the engine down because of static.
Is it possible to us that a resistor spark plug would kill the static?
Book calls for NGK BPR4ES plugs.

The R means this is a resistor plug.

I don't know of any spark plug these days that isn't resistor. And preventing radio interference is not their purpose anyway. A resistor plug has a hotter spark.

Plug wires are (as far as I know) more likely to be the culprit.

Maybe try insulating the source of the static.

The plug you list is a resistor plug.

Resistor plugs are designed to dampen "noise" (RFI/EMI emission) from plugs that is amplified by the wires.

(We had "Black Crow" on the H model gunships. It was originally used in Vietnam/Laos to find vehicles transporting weapons and was a major asset)

Resistor plugs have nothing to do with a hotter spark. The opposite, they "diminish" delivered spark.

You might need to try some shielding, either tube over the wires, or using copper mesh cloth(fine screen). If the cloth works, you can sandwich it between thin water resistance canvas. (it will be trial and error to figure what works).

Perhaps a snap-on ferrite choke on each plug wire would help?

I guess I will either shut down the engine to answer the phone or more likely ignore the call, let them leave a message.
