2017 - good or bad?
Good year overall. I am getting to that age where friends parents are starting to pass away. My very good friends had three fathers pass away too young. Makes you reflect a bit, but that is life.


There are 3 kinds of people, those that understand numbers and those that don't.

Mother died early in the year.

Left my job in February.

Mother in law died later in the year.

But my savings looks like I'll be able to stay unemployed indefinitely.

And with both our parents gone, my wife and I are free to up and go. I'm going to try to spend some time with my sister who looks like shes got Alzheimer before I go.
