| I am personally against naming/renaming any structure or thoroughfare for anyone still alive, no matter how prominent they are (or were). I know that it is done (we have roadways in the DFW area that fail that test) but that does not make it more palatable to me. In the case of former President Obama, it is more disgusting, especially since the LA Mayor has said how thrilled he is that it will remind visitors of the Obama legacy. I'd be wanting to hide it, if I were he. flashguy

I dunno. If I were a Republican mayor of a city, I’d give a shot at renaming a street after him. The only twist is that it’s name would be Obama Still Sucks Ave. Maybe a responsible parent or two of teenagers in that city would also relay that they approve defacing the last two letters of the street’s name |
