BassamaticWho carries a handkerchief or bandanna on a regular basis?
I like the idea of carrying a handkerchief and I have plenty of them, but for some reason I just stopped doing it years ago.

NismoNot a hankerchief, But everyday before work, I would get about a 20 inch long piece of paper towel from the break room and fold it in a rectangle and stick it in my back pocket to be used to wipe of sweat and grime from my face.
Much easier and cleaner as I can just toss out and get another one if it gets too dirty or wet.

EasyFireCarried one for over 60 years. Absolutely necessary for colds or anything you don't want your hands to touch.
Also useful for wiping blood off of knives or fingerprints off of handguns.

OKCGeneWhen I’m outside and I’ll be sweating I put on a tennis style headband, keeps sweat out of my eyes and off my eyeglasses and as well I keep a bandana/handkerchief in my pocket. The bandana also can be tucked in my hat to shield my neck from sunburn. It’s an item if versatility.
BTW Hobby Lobby carries a huuuuge variety of colorful handkerchiefs/bandannas.
No matter what you call it, it’s a very handy thing to have on yourself.
When cooking out it’s a pan heat shield for grip, well there are many uses.

craglawnmanorI did when I was younger. My dad
always carried a handkerchief. He'd be over 83 if still around.
But I transitioned to carrying a couple good quality paper towels in my pocket many years ago.
Partly because we have six kids (youngest is now 16, thank goodness), and partly because I've had my nose broken a few times, so, well, you know, drainage and stuff happens...

RHINOWSONope, I guess growing up and having my best friends father blow nose bombs into his and tease us with it scarred me for life.

Tooky13Yep, always carried one since high school. Right rear pocket with comb. Normally, only use it if no Kleenex nearby.

nighthawkAlways have, was raised that way, just like I have always carried a money clip for dollar bills, in case your wallet was stolen, you still have money. I guess it’s an old time thing since it’s rare to see anyone with a handkerchief.

ASKSmithI carry about six at work. I shave my head, and can’t stand the feeling of a sweaty hat on a bald head. So I rotate them out, once they get saturated. I wear a leather Minnetonka airflow Outback style hat, or a boonie. The bandana holds the sweat and gives an awesome cooling effect.
Black or blue for my head, red for a snot rag.

YooperSigsCarry a bandanna when I am out in the bushes, but not around town.
Growing up, they were standard equipment for all my male relatives.
