Apparently this officer was also involved in a shooting in 2017 and accused of police brutality.
I am not LEO but these are my thoughts on this.
Unbelievable and unacceptable. The Officer even had his weapon drawn from his holster as he approached the person on the motorcycle.
If the officer really thought the person on the motorcycle was a threat why then did he turn his back to him as he walked and confronted the person on his porch filming.
Truly a show of force and way out of line. This message has been edited. Last edited by: parabellum,

I agree we do not know what happen before the video. I am just wondering why officer had his gun drawn when he approached the guy on the motorcycle but walked away from him to confront the person filming.
If there was reason to have gun drawn the why turn your back to anyone.
Apparently the person on the porch was a cousin to the person on the motorcycle.

I’m not a cop, but I talk to them a bit and kinda sorta know how they do their thing...
Agreed, the motorcycle being stopped was the potential threat if the stop was legit. Turning his back to assert dominance over the guy recording suggests to me one of two things, a) it was a bullshit stop, or b) the cop is clueless regarding officer safety.
Real stretch to say a man standing on his own porch 25+ feet away recording the stop is “obstructing”. This cop just didn’t want a video record of what he was doing.
2nd day rookie would know enough to stay back, maintain a position, continue commands, and wait for back up on what I saw. Nothing exigent going on at that point requiring immediate physical intervention. This guy seems to me to be power tripping and not liking anyone questioning his authoritah.
My guess is sooner or later Vallejo will be paying a substantial settlement as a result of this guy wearing their badge.
What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

The vide title says there was a fatal shooting. Where? The video doesn't indicate a shooting. This makes no sense.
