OKCGeneJim Shugart may have passed away, anyone near Richmond VA?
Does anyone know Jim Shugart personally?
Last Fall I noticed Jim was not posting so I emailed him. It took awhile to get a reply in which he said he had a terminal illness and that he chose not to announce it on SigForum.
Over the years Jim and I corresponded via email. I never met him in person. He was a funny and kind man here, his screen name is Jim Shugart and his CUT is "Drug Dealer", he was a retired Pharmacist.
An online search found his name and age and sort of an obituary, all it was a sentence or 2 that he lived and died. No other details except he was cremated.
Based on various things I'm 99% sure he passed away.
Does anyone know him in the Richmond VA area?
I recall when someone posted member ColoradoHunter44 died in a plane crash. This was not true, his CUT is "Rumors Of My Death Are Greatly Exaggerated. For this reason I'm asking if anyone may be able to verify.

chellim1Yes, Godspeed, Jim.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
