I prefer fingerprint.
I actually like the facial recognition better than the fingerprint. Mine was set up pre-mask, so of course it does not work while wearing a mask, but when I have time I'm going to try an experiment: I'll try to set up facial recognition with a mask on, see if that works. A single phone can be set to recognize more than one face, so I won't have to delete the "real" one in order to try to add another with a mask.

It took me a while to figure this out, but now when I go to pay with Apple Pay, I simply unhook my mask from one ear long enough to get the ding, then remask.
