amalsArchiving text messages on Android phones
I have a Google Pixel phone. It's android. Is there a way to archive a text message I want to keep, and then start a new thread with the same person? Whenever I archive a thread, and try to text the same person anew, it just takes me to the end of the archived thread. I want to keep that one archived and have a new conversation. Is that possible?

DaBigBRYou can use a third party app sort of, but no easy way that I know of. It would be a cumbersome process of backing up the thread then deleting it and then having to go through the backup to recover it.
Any chance that a series of screenshots will meet your needs? I've done that.

That's a thought. But it would be a lot of screenshots; it's a long thread.
