V-TailBusiness shirts online?
When I wore business shirts every day, I was happy with Land's End. Good fit, good quality, decent price. That was quite a few years ago, my current "uniform of the day" is t-shirt and shorts.

sig77I now exclusively get custom shirts from proper cloth. A little more spendy, but fit amazing.

wxdaveIndochino makes a fine custom shirt. They have a 5/$299 deal all the time, but it's best to wait for the 5/$259 sales.
I took advantage of the Jos A Bank 3 for $99 Traveler shirts last week. While I was there, I picked up a nice wool overcoat on clearance for $49 (it was originally $498). Like everyone else said, just be patient and watch the sales. Subscribe to their mailing lists for a heads-up.
If you have a Brooks Brothers outlet near you, they have a 4/$189 deal that is fairly decent in a pinch.

jhe888Land's End has a good selection. Pretty good shirts, not expensive.

Salty DawgI resurfaced this thread specifically to get opinions on Charles Tyrwhitt because I got one of those 3 for $99 offers in the mail and was wondering if they were decent shirts for such a ridiculously cheap price.

Never pay full price at JosABank. Wait for the 3/$99 sales (or sometimes 4/$99).
I’ve bought online from almost all of the major online custom shirt sellers, and they’re all good, but JAB traveler’s dress shirts fit me just as well and are cheaper. They wear pretty well and are easy to replace as needed.

bigdealSomething to consider about buying dress shirts. Are you a custom fit guy, or a general fit guy? I personally prefer custom fit shirts so I can tailor them to my preferences (Ex. 17.5" Spread collar, 35" sleeve, slim fit, no chest pocket, no iron, etc).
As was already mentioned JOS A Bank Traveler shirts are very good when bought on sale (i.e. 3 / $99) though you cannot fully customize them to your personal preferences. Charles Tywritt are also very good when bought on sale and are fully customizable. I just tried a couple Amazon house brand (i.e. Buttoned Down label) shirts and have been very impressed with them for $39 every day. And best of all, they're pretty customizable. Give them a look...
