Odd shooting incident at Erie PA public outdoor range UPDATED 2 Feb 21
Thanks for the update.
It will be interesting to see if a motive is ever determined and reported.

PTSD perhaps?
^^^^^^^^^^^^
Most vets do not have PTSD and those that do typically do not shoot others. It becomes a overly simplistic explanation for a complex set of circumstances. PTSD is an anxiety disorder.

Except for in the rare instances in which they do, as in the Chris Kyle incident. I'm not suggesting a majority of vets have it, or that a majority that do engage in this kind of act. Like the "woman" angle, it's just another theory.

From the description of the shooting, it appears more premeditated and payback for something.

Murderous acts against (former) friends is not a symptom associated with PTSD. Someone with PTSD may commit murder, but nothing I have seen indicates that that's the reason: correlation versus causation.

Just saw this update in our local news today. No charges will be filed against the shooter. Looks like alcohol may have been a factor. I'm assuming that the "22 mm Ruger pistol" was actually a .22 Ruger pistol.

I imagine in this climate, finding 22mm ammo is as hard as finding .22!

I'd put my money on that exactly. Some "men" are stupid like that.

Actually 22 mm is very close to 12 gauge and that is plentiful around here...
