I'm constantly amazed at what you run across on the internet. Razz

Every once in a while, the Daily Dealer comes across a product that is more “thing you want” rather than “thing you need.” This is definitely one of those times. This drinking horn is AWESOME. It is made from 100 percent natural ox horn, and it even comes with a stand so you can set it down while you drink it. Right now, it is 25 percent off.

What's "need" got to do with it? Smile

Bought one at a renfair. Then we were invited to attend a wedding to be held at a renfair and were asked to be in costume. My wife made us both period-accurate costumes. (I even had period-accurate footwear.)

Got there and found I'd forgotten my drinking horn! So, naturally, I had to buy another Smile

And that's the story of how I ended-up with two drinking horns I never use.

The originals were soaked in a pot of molten beeswax and a coating of it left inside. By 9th century standards, pretty clean.
