Nullus Anxietas
| What's "need" got to do with it? Bought one at a renfair. Then we were invited to attend a wedding to be held at a renfair and were asked to be in costume. My wife made us both period-accurate costumes. (I even had period-accurate footwear.) Got there and found I'd forgotten my drinking horn! So, naturally, I had to buy another And that's the story of how I ended-up with two drinking horns I never use.

The originals were soaked in a pot of molten beeswax and a coating of it left inside. By 9th century standards, pretty clean.

Nah. Just drain it before setting it down
