I agree. At night all I see is the red lights on the wind farms.
I have a view of the river for now until new construction takes it away; as well as being able to see across the river to the Horse Heaven Hils.

I despise the wind and solar farms as they are a fraud as they cost more to maintain than they produce unlike our hydro-electric that is truly renewable.

Some of the wind and solar farms aren't even sending the electricity to the grid.

The big transmission lines kill the view IMO.

No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

I kind of like them. Lends a Sci-Fi aspect.

Serious about crackers.

Yeah, I think the power lines are a big part of the composition and interesting. Otherwise it's just another sunset...albeit a nice one!

Can’t help but be reminded of the Navy training area at Boardman. It seems to have been chipped away over the years, getting smaller.

lizardman_u,
Is this image straight out of the camera or did you run it though something like Lightroom?
It is an amazing picture

Nice. I like the power lines and transmission towers. We drive by 2x per year when going to and from the Oregon coast.

I shoot in RAW (Digital Negative) in order to capture the colors with film one used to overexpose up to five stops... with digital this will just give you many "hot" spot where there is no data so one under exposes the shot and brings it back in post processing.

RAW captures all the data so is a much bigger file while JPEG is like a 5000 piece puzzle with 500 pieces missing but the 'brain' fills in the missing pieces.

So I didn't enhance the photo, but did edit the shot to be what my eye saw by enhancing the contrast and making the color temperature correct.
