I think I read that the getaway driver actually VOLUNTARILY WENT to the police with information afterwards. Basically, turned herself in. Probably wasn't aware that she would be charged with felony murder. Ooops.

The majority of burglaries I have investigated were committed in daylight hours. Not all, but most of them.
So... if you see people or cars cruising your neighborhoods during the day, don't be quick to dismiss your suspicions!

yes, insurance will cover the cost of the needed bio-remediation. Had a guy that was killed in one of my rentals by his girlfriend, with a hammer. Made one hell of a mess and insurance covered it all except the deductible.

Not always true, it depends on your carrier and the coverage you have. I've scoped and helped clean countless suicides and crime scenes. The costs add up very quick.
